Our design focuses attention to a building’s structure as the key component for sustainable design. To achieve sustainable design, architects must not only carefully understand the life cycle of construction materials and building systems but first and foremost establish a criterion ahead of concept design, which puts structural decisions at the center of their design protocol.
Structure represents more than 30% of building cost and structural concepts ultimately define everything in a building, from construction schedule to spatial experience.
The Paper Tube Pavilion is a tribute to the craft of building, where structure defines the essence of space & experience.
