With each new development, town and cities gradually define their identity and future attractibility for new residents. In an era of commitment to sensible urban renewal, this project serves as an example of how we think fresh designs can insure contemporary challenges are met but in such way that the change occurs without loss of identity for neighboring communities.

The plot on which our building sits has two radically different scales on either side and we wanted to make sure this was expressed. Sitting back from the main road on one side, the facade is a planar surface with terrace cutouts, the opposite facade gradually steps backs to echo the scale of nearby single family homes.

The layout is based on a central vertical circulation core with apartments on either side, prefabricated concrete facade panels integrating planters. The use of concrete prefabrication techniques enhances structural integrity and higher precision with detailing.
